Shoes that are too tight, with heels… our feet are often put to the test. Here are eight clever reflexes to display smooth heels, neat nails and very soft skin! Take out your pedicure supplies and Follow us!
1. Give them a sea bath
In addition to being relaxing, this ritual remineralizes the epidermis, softens it and eliminates bacteria. It’s simple: in warm or cool water, add 1 tbsp. tablespoons of sea salt, rich in trace elements, and soak your feet in it for 5 to 10 min.
2. Concoct a natural scrub
The secret is lemon! In a bowl, squeeze the juice of a fruit and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and 2 tablespoons of sand. Once every 15 days, massage this preparation on the top and bottom of the feet, insisting on the heels.
3. Hydrate daily
Feet need hydration every day. In the morning, apply a specific cream, and massage it in for 1 to 2 minutes to make it penetrate well. You can also apply a nourishing balm or cream in the evening before going to bed: the treatment will act overnight.
4. Adopt shockproof varnishes
If you haven’t had time to go to a professional to have a semi-permanent nail polish applied, choose “gel effect” formulas at home. Podiatrists still recommend letting the nail breathe for two days before a new application.
5. Cut square
To have beautiful nails, it is advisable to cut them square and straight, preferably with pliers or nail clippers. Then slightly round the corners, to avoid ingrown nails.
6. Bet on castor oil
Anti-inflammatory, purifying, moisturizing and antifungal, it is the perfect massage ally for pretty feet! It also has beneficial effects on nail growth and health.
7. Soften and smooth
There are many products to smooth calluses. Electric, they act like a pumice stone and gently rasp the rough parts of your feet.
8. Shine the surface
The polisher does its job, but it is better to use it in moderation, at the risk of thinning the nail too much…
